Our guest speaker this month is Dr Emmie Williamson, a recently retired NHS Clinical Psychologist, who is now devoting her time to climate action of various forms, and has an interest in the growing field of climate psychology.
This event follows on from her previous talk in March, which was an introduction to the field. This time we will take a deeper dive into how a 'psycho-social' approach can analyse how it is that humans are causing such unimpeded damage to the planet.
