# CA-WN Public Meeting 17 September – ‘I invented my own job in sustainability’

We come back after our traditional and much-needed August break with a great guest speaker, and an appropriate one as children settle in to the new school term. Ellen Worrell is a returning speaker, having been a guest in January 2024 representing Green Welford along with Hannah Bedard, giving a presentation on [Carbon Literacy](https://youtu.be/zT1Td7wSwwo?si=3dLZ%5FIthVhX3qNBN&ref=exchange.ca-wn.org).

Now Ellen has kindly agreed to talk about what she is doing in her new role driving sustainability initiatives for the Peterborough Diocese Educational Trust, which manages 36 schools across Northamptonshire, Rutland and Peterborough. Ellen's enthusiasm for this work is obvious, and it is so motivating to hear about good work being done to tackle climate change.
