# CA-WN AGM and Public Meeting 15 October 2026

## Online meeting 7:30pm - 9:00pm

This meeting starts **15 minutes earlier than usual**, at 7.30.Approximately the first 15 minutes will be taken up by the Annual General meeting agenda:

- Minutes of 2025 AGM
- Chair's Report
- Treasurer's Report
- Election of Officers
- Election of Steering Committee members

We will then move on to our usual monthly public meeting with guest speaker Mark Tucker, Partnership & Value Chain Manager, Yara International, speaking on soil fertility and fertilisers.

CA-WN's resident farming expert, Rupert Knowles, asked Mark to speak after reading an [article ](https://www.farming.co.uk/news/is-fertiliser-really-to-blame-for-declining-soil-health?ref=exchange.ca-wn.org)he wrote for Farming News. A thriving agricultural sector will be vital to future UK health and food security, so we are grateful to Mark for agreeing to shed light on some of the complexities of modern farming.
